OBS: Because of the COVID-19 we will have a new system so only 50 people will be allowed at the dance floor.

If you do not want to rotate please come with a dance partner or just to the solo workshop, if you are afraid? Please stay home and come when you feel ready.

We will have 50 tags at the door, so each person can take and enter to the dance-floor, after you finish the dance you can leave it again at the door so someone else can take and go in.
Please do not stay on the dance floor if you are not dancing, everyone can wait inside or outside the building but not on the dance floor.
You will pay just one time 50.kr and use the as Tags many times and longer you want to on the social dance.

Our Concept

We make this new concept special for beginner dancers that would like to practice the dance in salsa or bachata.

We want to have a place where you can come and feel relax and train without having the stress that you have to be a good dancer to be able to social dance.

This new concept in social dance at falken is for dancers that want to learn and develop in the dance, and its not just for beginner but also for advancers that want to train their skills.

We also want to put a new suggestion or rules that can help you to develop in the dance, things that we DO NOT do in the normal social dance floor or parties:
– You should be able ask for help if you have problems in some steps during the dance or some one else more advance.

– You should be able to stop the dance and discuss about the step if something is not working good.

– If you want to help you can ask the person if he or she is open for tips and suggestions but NEVER EVER try to teach direct to some one without asking first.

– You should not be shy or embarrassed to invite someone to dance, man and ladies have to invite in the same proportion 50/50%.

– Dress as you wish, sport clothes or comfortable clothes but don’t forget your dance-shoes!

Everyone can come here to dance and if you do not get to dance it’s because you do not invite anyone to dance.

Come to practice at falken! You do not need a dance-partner or have lots of experience dancing, just come like you are and dance how you feel like

We will have some advance students around to help if you have a question about a step or just want to dance with them. You will also have the possibility to take private lesson with them for a very cheap price if you want to train a full hour with one of them.

We will play salsa & bachata music, if it will be a lot of interest in Kizomba we might also play some Kizomba (but the main focus is on salsa & bachata).

Everyone are welcome so you do not need to be a student at our school for to come, you can bring your friends, partner and family members.

THE MUSIC WE PLAY AT THE SOCIAL:

– Bachata, we will play most the modern bachata the most popular of the moment, mix with some Dominican.

– Salsa, we will select the friendly and happy songs to dance, Salsa Cubana and line style.

– Kizomba, we will play mix some urban and also modern.
