About this class:
Finally one of the most famous dances in the world comes to Göteborg!
Here, we start from scratch. No West Coast Swing knowledge is required. We rotate partners frequently, so all the guys dance with all the girls.
West Coast Swing is a dance originally develop from Lindy-Hop. From 70th century onwards, the dance influenced by both Latin American dance styles such as The Hustle. The dance is danced to traditional pop music and sometimes even to the Hip Hop and RnB which allows it to be danced on the dance floor at any time.
The dance has it's heart in California, but now it is growing world wide.
OBS: Couples (leader and follower ) pay half price.

Detta är dansen som kan dansas på vilket dansgolv som helst! Dansen har ursprungligen sina rötter i Lindy Hop'n men utvecklas ständigt av nya influenser som t ex latinamerikansk dans. Den dansas till R&B, hip-hop, popmusik, funk, för att nämna några stilar. West Coast Swing erbjuder både frihet och utmaning till alla som älskar att dansa!
